Trim boards and flooring
There are a lot of base board and casing patterns and heights available. Zoombee can even match exiting patterns . Trim are all available in different species such as Pine, Fir and Cedar. The prices of base boards is often far more competitive than MDF and there is no comparison in durability.
Flooring is available for pine, fir or larch. Pine is soft and will easily distress where fir and larch are much harder. In days past, fir was a very common flooring. Available in multiple widths. Zoombee flooring is not end matched (do not have T&G profiling on the ends of the boards only the sides). Flooring should be 8% or less moisture content before installing or there is a good chance of cracks opening up between the boards as they completely dry.
2X6 T&G :
2x6 Tongue and Groove can be used in areas such as roof decking over carports. The 2x6 T&G is 1-3/8" thick allowing for tin roofing or shingles to be applied to it. Makes for a nice finished look and eliminates the need for plywood. 2x6 T&G can be finished on both sides so that it can be used as exposed floor decking as well. 2x6 can also be profiled into deck boards. A round over on top with a square bottom makes for a nice finished installation. Fir and larch available.
